Is There a $1,000 Stimulus Payment in January 2026? Here’s What We Know
The State of Alaska is issuing a $1,000 Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD) payment to eligible residents for 2025.
There is no new “stimulus” payment in January 2026, but final 2025 PFD payments are scheduled for early 2026.
When Is the January 2026 PFD Payment?
According to the Alaska Department of Revenue – PFD Division:
-
2025 PFD claims (and prior years) that are still “Eligible – Unpaid” as of January 7, 2026 will be paid on January 15, 2026.
So, if your 2025 PFD is still unpaid by January 7, 2026, expect the $1,000 (or applicable amount) to be deposited on January 15, 2026.
