Are Increased Fuel Expenses Planned Out?
During the very first year of Barack Obama's Presidency in 2009, unreleased footage of then-Senator Obama came out, with him claiming that the federal government was going to intentionally drive the oil and coal industries out of business, even if it hurt the millions of people whose livelihoods depended on those jobs. Of course, being a Democrat, nothing really came of this revelation. The corporate media told Americans that they were just crazy, right-wing conspiracy theorists if they thought for even a second that what a politician said might be something worth taking seriously. It's only when they promise the good things that you should believe them, don't you know?! But the average person doesn't forget things like that. That's why there's a buzz on social media now about America's current state of affairs with all of these price hikes, especially fuel hikes. Are American politicians driving expenses up artificially just to pass more corporate-friendly policies?
You might think that this is just crazy talk from bitter people, but when you have the Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, standing on stage and claiming that these super high prices are good for politicians, so that they can pass their Green New Deal finally, eyebrows are going to raise. Like a famous detective once said, "If you don't want to be accused of murder, don't stand over a dead body." This certainly applies here. If politicians don't want Americans thinking they are intentionally raising expenses to get their way, then maybe don't speak about how it's a good thing that expenses are climbing higher and how that's enabling your political visions to come true.
Yes, Most Recent "Conspiracies" are True
Raise your hand if you've heard any of this: Masks work and you're just a loon. Vaccines prevent the spread of the virus. Jeffery Epstein will be fine in prison. Hospitals aren't claiming COVID deaths for profit. And on and on these things go. Every single one of these true things were once called a crazy conspiracy theory by the government and corporate media, if you stated the opposite and obvious truth. Of course, this isn't anything new. Revisiting Obama's remarks, the mainstream media was on a mission to say those same things a dozen years ago.
Your individual suffering as an American can be tolerated if the end goal is a politician getting their way. A more recent and obvious example would be President Joe Biden and the entirety of corporate media telling you that it's noble for you to suffer with larger expenses, if that means the people of Ukraine are helped out against Russia. How are Ukrainians helped out by you having to spend more for fuel and food? They don't say that part. They just want you to believe that the price hikes that have been plaguing Joe Biden's presidency are just now appearing due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Are you starting to see what America's politicians are willing to put you through as long as it's good for them?
It's Scary Even if it Isn't True
No one here is claiming that it's true that politicians are intentionally screwing up the market in order raise Americans' expenses, so that they can get everyone panicked enough to pass the Green New Deal. Even though Nancy Pelosi outright claimed as much in a recent speech, take a step back and just suggest that this isn't even close to true. What's scary, however, is that the American government has done much, much worse before. You live in a world now where every public school and college speaks about the "white supremacy" of America's government and institutions, and what they did to blacks, Native Americans, etc. But what about forced eugenics, medical experimentation, crashing entire industries, bailing out billionaires and allowing normal people to be evicted? What about the homeless they ignore on a daily basis in favor of corporations?
Perhaps it's not true that the government is purposefully raising expenses, but what's scary here is that if they were, it'd only be like the tenth worst thing they've done this century.
